Quadrature Head Coil
This 2-element coil is designed with integrated preamplifier for high SNR brain imaging.

The maximum FOV is 26 x 21.5 x 25 cm

Quadrature Neck Coil
This dedicated coil is specially tailored for C-spine and neck imaging with very close proximity to the anatomy.
The coil includes pre-amplifier for high SNR.

The Technologies Behind the Clinical Image

Dynamic Balancing Technology (DBT) reproduces the ideal physics-environment for an MR image so that imaging spins refocus accurately in space and time. headTherefore, DBT MR system produces accurate, clear and crisp images with high SNR. It also enables excellent image parameter acceptance with a large and flexible parameter range. In particular, fast imaging applications like FSE that require such flexibility, but are sensitive to system physics behavior, benefit and perform exceptionally well. DBT permanent MR systems such as the Centauri MPF3000 and the mStar MPF4500 have been used to obtain high quality images in EPI and TrueFISP etc. DBT enables permanent MR systems the potential benefits of implementing clinical applications found only on superconducting MR systems and extending clinical applications by combining the intrinsic properties of objects in low field strength, such as short T1, lower SAR etc.

3d-DBASS_G Dynamically Balanced 3D Active Self-Shielded Gradient design, combined with DCAST (Divided Current Active Shielding Technology) maximize the gradient performance with virtually no Eddy current and no residual magnetization. Shimming CoilBy de-coupling the gradient coil from the magnet there is no interference between them while ensuring dynamic accuracy without degradation of the homogeneity, resulting in a distortion free image.

3d-DBASS_G gradient coils are comprised of main (or primary) gradient coils and 3D shielded coils. The electromagnetic parameters and the equilibrium between the two sets of coils is obtained by using the "Polar Constrained Simplex Target Field (PCSTF)" method. This method ensures the shielded coils can dynamically balance gradient fields in a polar configuration when imaging gradient fields change rapidly. The technology ensures the dynamic accuracy of imaging gradient fields and is interaction-free avoiding any degradation of the homogeneity of a magnet from imaging gradients, and eliminates eddy currents and residual magnetic fields of permanent MR systems.

DHOAS technology consists of fourth order, multi-array (TOMA), 11-channel orthogonal shimming coils and real-time active shimming (third order, 9-channels in the Centauri MPF3000). It produces the imaging field homogeneity of a superconducting magnetShimming Channels. All these coils can be controlled independently and they are integrated with 3d-DBASS_G gradient coils. The system interface unit (SIU) controlled by the main computer outputs all the shimming signals. Every shimming signal is converted to a current signal by the shimming amplifier and the current signal is sent to the shimming coil. Therefore, every shimming signal can be controlled independently by the interface in real-time.

In addition to the patented passive shimming these magnets can sustain a very high homogenity even during a long period of time, with temperatures varying as much as ± 5°C in one hour. Measured homogeneity on a diameter spherical volume (DSV) of 20cm is lower than 1 ppm.

Together with DCAST (Divided Current Active Shielding Technology) and 3d-DBASS_G the system allows for better pixel registration and higher resolution in smaller FOV's.

Magnet Pole DesignHigh Field Efficiency Design Pole, and FFYD, patented by XBO Medical Systems, allows for the construction of lighter magnets (~50% lighter) by reducing the annular protrusions used for shaping the magnetic field (passive shimming). This further increases patient access and comfort.

Manufactured by our partner XBO Medical Systems in their brand new facilities in Baoutou, the Elixbo PM 545 is now a reality. The new technological advances achieved with the release of this equipment paved the road for the introduction of the world's first high field Open MRI. More news on that subject will be released soon.


Sina Healthcare signs an exclusive agreement with XBO Medical Systems

Sina Healthcare signed an exclusive agreement with a world leading manufacturer of permanent magnet open MRi, XBO Medical Systems. The partnership with Sina Healthcare will ensure sales and service coverage across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

With a brand new manufacturing facilty in Baotou, where production will relocate from the current factory in Langfang, Beijing province, XBO Medical Systems is increasing its output capability to meet market demand. New XBO Medical Systems factory in Baoutou Sina Healthcare and XBO Medical Systems are focused in offering the medical community the latest in the MRi open magnet field and will introduce a new system by the end of the year to expand the current product offering.

In the meantime the development of new features for the mStar MPF 4500 continues and new options will be made available to the current installed base as they are released to market as a commercial upgrade.

Sina Healthcare and XBO Medical Systems continue to offer their customers the best alternative to super-conductive MRi.
